Greg Shaheen, Coordinator
Class of 2013
Greg joined the WesESL community after he learned of its wonderful existence during a Freshman backpacking orientation trip in New Hampshire with the then coordinator Sarice Greenstein. His freshman year he tutored Gloria Tobon, which was one of the best things to happen to him at Wesleyan. Since then he stopped tutoring and began acting as a sort of informant for the coordinators by going to the (then ABM) break rooms and chatting up the workers. His Senior year, he is thrilled to share this leadership position with his homies Kaya and Julia, and to give back to the WesESL community for what it has given to him. Although he is so down with Hispanic culture and Spanish language, he has been known to migrate into the lesser known areas of Arabian language and culture too.
